Our ceremony structure is designed to guide you through a safe, intentional, and transformative experience. Here's what to expect:

2. Client Welcome Page & Introductory Call

Please read through this page in its entirety to better understand our offering and feel into alignment.

After reading through this page, you may request a call. This is an opportunity for us to get acquainted, explore what brings you here, discuss practical arrangements and safety considerations, and see whether working together feels right.

3. Set a Ceremony Date

There's no rush. We'll choose a date together that feels right—one that allows at least 30 days for preparation, and space afterward to rest and reflect.

4. Receive Your Preparation Materials

Once your ceremony is scheduled, you'll receive a set of resources to support your inner readiness. These include:

• A 30-day guided meditation course to cultivate calm and clarity

• Audio materials to support spiritual insight and emotional grounding

• Curated reading selections designed to help prime your body and mind for a psychedelic ceremony

• Guidance on daily practice, diet, movement, and mindset

5. Pre-Ceremony Prep Calls

Throughout the preparation period, we'll stay connected via WhatsApp for individual conversations and ongoing support. These may include:

• Reviewing your progress and insights from the preparation materials

• Clarifying and refining your intentions

• Emotional or somatic self-inquiry

• Lifestyle and mindset guidance

6. Ceremony Day

Ceremonies begin at 11:00 a.m. and unfold slowly across the day, typically lasting 7–9 hours. There's no rush—we move at the pace of presence. Here's what to expect:

• Create Your Sacred Space: You're welcome to provide meaningful items—candles, photos, letters, flowers. These become part of your altar and help create a space that feels rooted and personal.

• Arrival & Grounding: We begin with breathwork and meditation to settle the body and mind.

• Intention & Flight Instructions: We'll revisit your intention and walk through what to expect—how to surrender, navigate discomfort, and stay connected to your inner guide.

• The Journey: You'll lie back with an eye mask and curated music. I'll remain fully present throughout, holding space with care and attunement as you journey inward.

• No Rush: There's no fixed timeline. We honor the rhythm of the medicine—and your unique unfolding. It takes the time it takes.

• Closing & Sharing: When you return, we'll close the ceremony with gratitude and gentle reflection. If you feel called, you're invited to share what's present. Integration begins here.

Ceremony Location: Brooklyn Psychedelic currently only offers house calls in and around New York City. We do not have a dedicated ceremony space. Ceremonies take place at your home or another suitable private location arranged by you. Please consider these arrangements before requesting a call.

7. Ongoing Integration

After your ceremony, we'll meet for private 1-on-1 integration sessions.

Integration is where insights take root and transformation unfolds. It's not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new way of being. We walk with you as you carry what you've discovered into the life that's waiting for you.

This ceremony is not just about psychedelics—it’s about you. The entire arc of preparation, ceremony, and integration is designed to awaken you to that which is already whole and absolute. Even without taking a psychedelic, the combined work we will walk through lays a foundation for deep inner growth, emotional clarity, and spiritual transformation.

Psychedelics are not the path—YOU are the path. Your presence, your courage, and your inner wisdom. The medicine simply helps you remember what’s already true.

When held with intention and reverence, a psychedelic ceremony can illuminate present truth, offering you tools, insights, and a way of being that never leaves you.

Any medical or psychiatric concerns, including medication interactions, should be discussed with an appropriate licensed healthcare professional before participating.

Brooklyn Psychedelic operates on a donation-based model, rooted in mutual respect, trust, and reciprocity.

A full ceremonial journey, including preparation, ceremony, and integration, is $1,500.

• $300 deposit to reserve your ceremony date

• $1,200 remaining on the day of the ceremony

This donation allows us to offer personalized care and attention while maintaining a sustainable practice.

Río is a psychedelic guide, integration coach, and director of Brooklyn Psychedelic. He has guided hundreds of people through psilocybin and ayahuasca ceremonies across Mexico, Peru, and the U.S.

His path has led him from the Amazon rainforest, where he apprenticed with Shipibo elders, to the headwaters of the Ganges River in the Himalayas of India, where he studied yoga and meditation. He spent three years in Mexico training in mushroom medicine and living among the Mazatec and Zapotec. He’s also held ceremonies with Wixárika elders (guardians of the sacred peyote cactus) in the desert of northern Mexico. In Huautla de Jiménez, Oaxaca, he exchanged mushroom medicine with the family of María Sabina, who initiated him into the mushroom medicine tradition.

Río also brings an academic foundation to his work. He studied social entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Austin and spent a decade in the tech industry. He is now pursuing master's degrees in both Divinity and Clinical Social Work in New York City, bringing together his interests in contemplative spirituality, human connection, and service.

Above all, however, Río brings presence. He meets each person with openness and respect, without judgment or agenda. His role is not to fix or heal, but to help create a safe, sacred space where your own inner healer can emerge.
